Here comes Chicago Lane: young, wild, and full of hairspray! Tight pants, makeup, and mullets meet TikTok – the Gen Z answer to glam rock.
In late 2024, the four-piece band from Hanover won the state finals of the local heroes band contest and subsequently toured across Germany. Their stops included renowned festivals such as Metal Frenzy in Gardelegen and Schlosspark Open in Pforzheim.

At the 2025 local heroes national finals, Chicago Lane competed against 13 acts from all over Germany. The team’s summary: “Colorful, loud, and somehow not from this world.” – with over 3,000 votes, Chicago Lane was crowned Germany’s Best Newcomer 2025 (Audience Award).
In 2026, Chicago Lane opened its next chapter: “Just One Look” in May and “Perfume” in August marked the first singles from the upcoming debut album, produced in collaboration with Hannes Braun (Kissin’ Dynamite, Santiano). The year also brought the band’s first international show at Corn’Rock Festival in Switzerland and a performance at the anniversary edition of Rock & Metal Day’z in Oschersleben – alongside acts such as Burning Witches.
